I’m not sure how… But it just keeps getting better.
Today marked another epic outing on Little Sandy Creek where Jay Peck and I had a chance to catch some truly memorable fish. Fish of the day for me included a 16 Lb. hen at the Barn hole and a 15 Lb. Buck at Jim Metcalf’s. Jay equaled his own PR for a Male Brown with a 17.5 Lb. specimen. This fish was both massive and flawless and likely represents the top 0.1% of male browns in this fishery.
Jim and his sister Darlene also landed some exceptional fish late in the afternoon in the elbow hole. I had the unique opportunity to Sight Fish Guide – “New Zealand Style” for Jim putting him on a huge buck in the riffle section.
We’re back at it again tomorrow with Ron Burnside and Patrick Dowd.
