New York and Florida

Tom’s whirlwind of a schedule over the past two weeks have created several opportunities for him to get out on the water for some excellent fishing.  Joining Ron Mergardt and Jay Peck, TO successfully hooked 10 and landed 7 on day-one of his four days in New York.  During the rest of his time in NY he finished with 40-fish hooked, 30-fish landFly Fishing Portraits, LLCed with fish of the trip being a beautiful 36-inch, 16-pound Steelhead.

From there, Tom travelled to Titusville, Florida where he and guide Billy Rotney enjoyed a beautiful day on Mosquito Lagoon.  With high hopes of hooking a massive Redfish they started their day at 6am and had a successful day hooking ~20 and landing a dozen.  The largest was a large 16-pound Redfish.  TO was also able to land a beautiful Black Drum.  There were a couple fish that escaped including what appeared to be a 40-inch, 20-pounder.  Something has to be there to entice TO back, right?  Look for these pictures to grace our galleries soon.
