The Campaign moved northeast today to Bath, NC to hunt the migratory Redfish in the “Inner Banks.”
Hunter and Rob Brinkerhoff joined me with Captain Richard Andrews as we spent the day fishing every technique we could muster. The day was hot (mid 90’s), humid and windy (15 MPH) but we fished hard all day and managed several good fish that included large, medium and small Red Drum in multiple depths. The fish of the day for Rob was a 37 pounder that established a new PR for him. Hunter landed a 27 pounder in the first 10 minutes of the day and several large “Cow nose” rays.
We have two more days to hunt for the monsters that will exceed 40 pounds. Included are several great sunrise shots and some fine portraits of Redfish.
More to follow.
